Bought this for my hubs as a gift to unwind after a long day, and met expectations. Classic, stylish, vintage, good fabric, nice weight, and very easy to clean. He loves the jacket.

I bought the smoking robe as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He really liked how it looked when he tried it on, but found the lining and shoulder padding uncomfortable and felt it was a bit too "costume-y" for his taste. I returned it. It did look great on though.

I have always wanted a smoking jacket or robe and this was the year I decided to treat myself.
I love this garment! It makes me happy every time I put it on. Wearing this makes you want to smoke a pipe and sit back with a good book or watch some period murder mystery. It is beautifully constructed, very comfortable, and warm.

It is well made, but it's a little towards costume-like rather than Saville Row, but it will be cozy and festive on Christmas morning. The velvet is soft and the color is rich. If you want the couture quality craftsmanship for a smoking robe, you can spend $300 more.

My husband loves this and I love hugging him in it. The material is so nice to touch and snuggle but also keeps him warm and handsome

I am 6'6" so I have long arms so general do not expected things to fit my long arms so this jacket could have been a little longer in the arms but otherwise fit very well

It's still new, so I can't speak to how it will hold up, but my husband loves it!

My husband had asked for a bathrobe for Christmas, which I did purchase, but then I discovered the existence of smoking robes, found this site, and surprised him with this. As a matter of fact, while the nice flannel bathrobe would have been more practical in terms of care/laundering and ability to use in more seasons, my husband elected to return it because he loves the smoking robe so much that he thinks he'll only really use it. It was a success - a gift with panache!

This robe looks great, fits well, and it's comfortable in the winter months. But the interior lining tears very easily, even with minimal stress. Every seam on the inside has split somewhere.

Absolutely gorgeous color and extremely warm and comfortable. I'm 5' 11" and on the skinny side, and I ordered a large. It's a more snug fit than I expected, and the sleeves are the perfect length for my arms. The pockets sit lower than I expected, more on the thigh than at the waist, and that is a little awkward. And it would be nice to have a longer version available reaching all the way down the leg. But overall, I'm very happy with this robe.

It is a quality costume product. Price was a little high though.

Since he was a baby, my grandson has always stripped down, curled up in a blanket, and claimed his corner of my couch. It was fine when he was little, but he is a teenager now. When I saw this, I knew it was perfect for him. He has always had a love for super soft, and this is way beyond that. When I showed my husband, and he tried it on, he immediately asked for one for himself. The quality of the workmanship, and the materials is out of this world
