Marc I have been trying to grow a mustache as long and wild as King Fergus (Merida's Dad) but started too late. I have also tried creating one from trimmings off a wig I was going to use as a backup. No decent quality false mustaches in the Tulsa area. When I got the Walrus I began to reshape it after soaking in water. To my delight the"glue" was water soluble and I was able to make a reasonable facsimile of Fergus' stache. I will need to add a bit of the wig trimmings and use spirit gum to adhere it to my lip/cheeks under my own growth. I have had NO trouble with the hair coming loose from the netting, silk I think . My loupe isn't strong enough to tell if the hair is attached to the netting like a latch hook rug in super miniature. I got white as a base color and have dyed it with Roux(r) Fanci-Full(tm) temporary color styling mousse.The color as applied matches closely to what it looks like on my grey facial hair.
I recommend this inexpensive mustache although it isn't as full as I would have liked, hence the 4 star rating.

Anonymous Put it on the person it was meant for, and it looked comicly huge on his average sized face. Handed it over to a wider faced friend and it was perfect. So, you should probably have a wider face.

Richard The mustasche is made as cheaply as possible, the supposed hair density is so thin it hardly represents a mustache. It looks like it was grown by a Kimo patient as a last resort for a few small coins.

Robbie This was a great looking mustache out of the box. The nature of the show caused me to be a little rough with it, and as a result, it lost some of its shape near the ends. If I can figure out how to repair it, I'm sure it can be done. On stage, the mustache looked great!
