They fit very well but the toe box is a little tight for me . I have to stretch them a little which I didn’t have to do with the boots I purchased about a year ago. Other than that, they are very nice.

These fit so well straight out of the box and I can tell will only get comfier as the leather breaks in. I'd been searching for ages for a ballet style work shoe and these fit the bill perfectly. The Detachable bow also offers a way to make them more playful depending on the outfit. I love AD's quality and the fact that they are leather and will last for years to come makes them a wonderful investment and keeps my feet happy.

These shoes are very versatile across not only historical eras but also they blend seamlessly into modern professional formal dress or modern semi formal dressy occasions. The heels make the same pleasant click click sounds of high heels without any of the discomfort. I will be buying more pairs to color coordinate, and since the bows are detachable, this makes it much easier to do.

These shoes are elegant and so comfortable! I wore them around the house a little bit to let the leather hug my foot, and now they fit like cozy gloves. The heel height is great for a dressy look that has to hold up to hours of walking - wore these for my wedding party and after party and my feet are thanking me!

All of my American Duchess slippers, pumps and boots fit nicely! They are all high qualit, and well made with a touch of nostalgia! The black slippers with bow don’t need breaking in; they are ready to go to be paired with various outfits. I am very pleased. Thank you!

These are beautiful shoes! They remind me of Cinderella. I love that the bows are on detachable clips. It's like I have 2 shoes in 1!!

I bought these for my wedding, and they were super cute! They looked exactly as pictured and were perfect for the day. However, even after trying to break them in, the backs of the shoes were tough and gave me major blisters and cuts before the reception had even started. I only wore them when I had to after that, and it took about a week to fully heal. I would recommend them otherwise.

i also own the gold flapper heels (gorgeous!) and these shoes need to be broken in a smidge more than the flapper heels. otherwise a great shoe with a low practical heel that still makes the good click-clack noise when walking.

The color blue is delicate yet not insipid.
I hope I may break them in for lasting wear.

Ordered a half size up as these were not offered in Wide. Beautiful leather and heel height make this a winner!

The shoes are well constructed and nicely designed. I am hoping that I may break them in quickly, as I believe that they are a good addition to any shoe wardrobe, no matter which century.

These shoes are so beautiful! I got them for my wedding and they match my Ivory Princess Diana style dress perfectly!!!!!!!

I love how cute the bows look with the shoes but the hinges poke the tops of my feet and leave two small bruises each. I had to add small foam pads to them to prevent this. Otherwise, the shoes are as incredible in look and feel as all of my other pairs from American Duchess.

The quality is excellent; the fit was perfect; the physical objects matched the pictures of them, fulfilling all hopes and dreams.
We’re Jewish, and my stylish daughter dresses modestly, and these excellent, elegant, feminine shoes are ready for a party, while also being Frum appropriate, which means that my daughter can wear them to events with our most observant friends without a problem.
She intends to style them with pink tights, wearing them first with her 1940s red velvet dress with a lace collar.
She is going to look like a lovely, Jewish, cinnamon heart candy of a girl in this ensemble, and she’s pretty excited about it.
The combination of pretty and practical (SUCH a wearable heel height) delighted her, and I was so grateful and relieved that the big ticket shoe purchase was such a success.
My daughter will be able to wear these shoes her whole life, and it makes me happy to think of her in them when she’s an old woman, and I am long gone, remembering my love for her, and my delight in her stylish teenage happiness.
These shoes were a really big splurge for us, given our typical budget and lifestyle, and I do not regret buying them at all, not even a little bit.

I bought these when they were still on pre-order back in November 2023 because I had been on the hunt for the perfect "something blue" wedding shoes! Having been a bridesmaid four times, I knew a full day in heels was not going to be sustainable as the bride, so I was searching for elegant, dressy pumps that weren't too high. These were PERFECT. I swapped out the bows for jeweled shoe clips on my wedding day but have worn them several times since.

I wanted to try these slippers because they have a heel height that is perfect for my problem feet. The size fits perfectly and comfortable from the first day of wear. This is my third pair of shoes from American Duchess each being a different style.

Bought these to be able to have flat, dressy shoes. They don’t disappoint. This is my third pair in this style.

Maybe it’s just me…..but l am having trouble finding my true size. I love the Waltz shoes. Love the rich gold color and the small elegant heal. American Duchess has been very helpful…l have even talked to a real live person! I am going to send these shoes back. They said it would be no problem to then receive a different size …larger. Love the company and love the shoes?

Excellent craftsmanship and a very sturdy shoe to last me years. For anyone who doesn’t normally wear leather shoes a little tight is good, the shoes will stretch and form to your foot.

Like all American Duchess shoes these are lovely.
