Theodora Maybury, Seamstress

Although she has no formal education Miss Maybury possesses extraordinary sewing skills that she developed at her mother’s knees. During her childhood they earned extra money by sewing for friends and neighbors.

Her designs and skill came to the notice of several high society ladies and became personal dressmaker to one. Ultimately the lure of seeing her styles more broadly worn, drew Miss Maybury to open her own shop, which has proven quite successful.
