Eliza Penobscot, First Lady
The First Lady of our great state, Mrs. Penobscot was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Buckland in Virginia. She was well educated and attended Miss Priscilla Owen’s School for Young Ladies where she studied the classics, as well as deportment and house management. Thus she was well prepared to manage the complexities of the Governor’s house upon her husband’s recent election.
She splits her time between caring for her two sons , supporting her husband, and organizing charity balls to raise funds for the state’s orphanages.
