Keep the wind at bay with our Classic Canvas Duster. This traditional overcoat blends practical protection with rugged 19th-century styling, making it an ideal companion for historical ensembles or everyday wear.

Crafted from durable 100% cotton canvas, this unlined duster features an oversized placket secured with metal buttons to help block out breezes. Two front flap pockets offer space for essentials and warmth for cold hands. A single back pleat with buttoned flap can be released to allow ease of movement when riding on horseback or bicycle.

Measuring approximately 48 inches from center back to hem, this coat delivers classic full-length coverage in a streamlined silhouette.

Sizing Notes
Our coats are made with typical American sizing, meaning your chest measurement (in inches) is the size you should choose.
To measure your chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest. If your belly measures larger than your chest, use your belly measurement for coat size.
Longs: If indicated in the selection list (e.g. 46L,) long sizes may also be available. Longs are approximately 2" longer in the back and sleeves.

After reading all the reviews I could find I figured of course the shirt and trousers I purchased would need alterations so I ordered a tad large an had items sized to fit. The order came in weeks ahead of the posted date which allowed extra time for the alterations to be completed, and much to my relief since I had waited way to long to make a decision. The Ranch coat was a perfect fit and much better looking than the image projected .

Casual Canvas with Class

A fine Gentleman's canvas Ranch Coat, that lends a casual, but stylish aire to any man with vintage era taste. The contrasting materials are distinctive and flattering. The fit was perfect. But note that the shoulders are well padded (and visible when the unlined coat is removed from your person), hinting at a scoche more sophistication than your average ranch hand.

Being made of canvas, is is easily cold-laundered, but will likely arrive quite wrinkled. It would have been nice to have a link on the site, or a note on how to excise such undesirable folds in the material when it arrived. Such was not the case. My research lends me to offer this, due to such deficit:

Place the fabric on top of the iron board, use the water in a wet but not dripping towel, as you press with a hot iron, to excise the worst of the wrinkles.

Being constructed of canvas, it will always be imparted with character bearing nuances in its surface.

I normally wear a large and these are really large more like double x. Other than that it is what i expected
