Keep up appearances (and your trousers) sporting a pair of our Tan Elastic Y-Back Suspenders. Since the 1820s, this popular gentlemen’s accessory stopped millions of bagging knickers and onlookers’ snickers.

Back in the 19th century, belt loops were not even born. Respectable gents held up their trousers with a pair of suspenders, often called “braces,” that were attached to buttons on the waistband. This pair of braces feature a Y-back design with 1 ½ inch elastic straps and brown leather accent pieces and leather attachment loops. Fully adjustable and one size fits most from 32" to 44" (short).

Short Suspenders - Sizing Notes
These suspenders are adjustable from 32" to 44". For elastic styles, this is an unstretched measurement.
They are made to fit men up to 6'0" with normal builds, or up to 5'9" with large builds. If you are big (2X or larger) or tall (over 6'0), you might prefer our standard suspenders, which are 9" longer.
Measuring for suspenders: To measure for suspenders, take a fabric tape measure and measure from the front suspender button, over the shoulder, to the rear button.

These white suspenders look great. Craftsmanship looks great too, and they fit on my pants well. Plenty of length to adjust for a big heavy guy like me, just remember the pants are supposed to be worn high over the navel.

I knew my trousers would come a bit big so the braces were a must! I wish they came in a smaller size since I had to shorten them as much as they could go, and once I did that, the y-back went up to my neck and it is kind of uncomfortable if I'm not wearing a shirt with a collar, but I expect everything to be a little too big since I am built smaller so I'm not complaining. Otherwise, they get the job done and I especially like the colour!
