Carry the six-gun that won the west! The Model 1873 Colt "Peacemaker" was the ubiquitous old west firearm, carried by Wyatt Earp, Pat Garrett, and Bat Masterson.

Our non-firing replica is authentic in all details -- heavy cast zinc construction, with an antiqued finish and polished European hardwood handle. The barrel is the short 4 ¾ inch "fast draw" version popular with quick draw artists.

This model is fully functional. Cock the hammer, pull the trigger, rotate the cylinder, open the loading gate and slide the spring-loaded ejection rod. The parts operate just like the original, giving this replica the look and feel of the old west!

Imported, produced in Spain by the world leader in collectible replica firearms.

Our Replica Pistols are not made to hold Live or Dummy Ammunition. The chamber is much smaller and can only accommodate our Dummy Cartridges.

Please note that this replica is non-firing, and cannot be made to fire ammunition or blanks.

NOTE: This item cannot be shipped to NJ, RI, NYC, nor outside the United States (including APO addresses,) and will be sold in compliance with all local laws and regulations.

1873 Colt Peacemaker

Looks and feels great. The gun’s balance is perfect for practicing fancy twirling and spinning. Real guns are not balanced for that.

Nice chrome finish
Real wood handles
Extraction rod really works
Trigger pull smooth
Easy palming action
Full metal frame feels like a real gun
Note: The barrel on the peacemaker does not open. That is what the extractor rod is for

The Colt 45 Peacemaker is a great reproduction. The dummy bullets that I bought also fit in the gun and in the holster

1873 Colt Peacemaker Pistol Replica - Gray

Solidly built replica with functioning cylinder gate, hammer and trigger. I got mine to learn gun spinning. Heavy enough to feel like the real deal!

Expensive for What You Get

Denix (out of Spain) manufacturers this extremely detailed pistol so much so, it includes a supervision warning label. Almost functionally identical to the real thing with t exception of the cylinder bind up in both directions regardless of hammer position or dry firing (which they do not recommend). Pronounceable 2 position click (not four} so you can get familiar with SAA revolvers. Main issue is the hardware holding this together. The center screw on the left side of frame easily falls out getting lost with less than 50 draw back of the hammer. Be mindful of were it ends up as it is black, pointy, and sharp and worst of all, no replacement. I ended up at Home Depot getting a mini bag full of No.6, 3/4 length round head, flat tip sheet metal screws; painted the tip black since no warranty or replacement was offered. The wood grip screw will also loosen over time, just make small gradual turns to tighten is all you need. If you crank down on it, say good bye to the grips. Same goes for the side plate screw when reinstalling to tight and it's over. Overall, it's weighty, the antique finish is excellent and many will think it's the real thing up close or far away, especially holster exposing the real natural wood grips. There are plenty of youtube videos covering the Denix products.

Nice grip finish but the wood slides out of place a bit. Besides the looseness and misalignment pretty sturdy.

Quick draw dreams

I have an old west theme in the room I call my library. The replica is in my quick draw holster hanging underneath my Hawken 50 cal muzzleloader. The Peacemaker looks real, acts real and has the heft of it's real counterpart. My actual firearms which are not muzzleloaders are locked in my safe.

1873 COLT REPLICA

LUV IT!!! Perfect for my purpose. I just became interested in the art of, " GUN TWRILLING " Purchased 1st gun, liked the feel & size, then purchased 2nd gun 5 days later. These guns are close to the real thing as far as weight and balance. I prefer to use REPLICAS to practice with, as opposed to the REAL McCOY! The function and moving parts are close enough for EXHIBITION & DISPLAY. LOTS OF FUN!!

This thing weighs a ton. VERY solid.

Looks menacing.

Makes me look like a Old West Marshal!

Luckily... that's what I was going for!!!!!!

Pair this w/ the leather holster I bought and BAM! instant success!

Nice repo

Over all I'm very happy with the reproduction .45 cal Colt revolver.
The minuses are:
1. The frame is just like a toy gun to pieces screwed together so the front seem is easy to spot.
2. The loading gate is spring loaded, so it will close every time you open the gate! This was not on the original.
The gate will not stay open like the original, you have to hold it open with your finger. This is a little thing obviously since you can't fire it. If you buy the fake bullets they sell for the piece when you get them is the only time you will load it, so no big thing. However, I'd rather have it be like the original in all respects.

This has limited use if you intend to use it in a video or film, unless it is never drawn from the holster.

But it looks good, the bluing is nice and even, and the pistol looks fine in all other respects, and the grips are real wood.

Pistol

The pistol is awesome. The only question I have is the finish that appears to have "distress" marks in the metal. If the finish should be clear and polished (such as a chrome bumper on a car) please let me know.

Great Gun!

This gun is so realistic! Very heavy and well made!
The holster I purchased to go with it was also great!
I even had someone in Ft. Worth Cowtown stop me
(in between my performances) and comment about how
nice it was!! I have loved everything purchased from Historical Emporium.
Prices might seem high at first but the quality is so great...You will only have to purchase once (should last forever)
