Designed as a less formal option of the period, this riding coat—also known as a Newmarket—features a single-breasted cut that slopes gently into elegant tails rather than being sharply cut away. It represents the transitional silhouette that would later evolve into the morning or cutaway coat.

Distinguished details include a striking 3-inch high-standing fold-over collar, a two-button cutaway front, and wide-point lapels. Decorative stamped metal buttons accent the lapels, sleeves, and back, while functional buttons secure the front closure, collar, and pockets.

Holiday Truce at the Museum

Our Christmas event at the museum I work at. Almost everything I am wearing came from Historical Emporium. Most of Mrs. Clause did as well. Then of course the soldiers and the grinch wanted to join the fun.

A musical I designed.

Very nice coat authentic looking

The quality is really nice the material are very good too worth the price. Only thing is I wish they had an extra small size. The small is an inch too big in the shoulders and chest. I'm a taller but slim build so I had to take the shoulders in an inch for it to look right. Other than that I highly recommend it especially if it's the right measurements

60/40 Party

I purchased my Western outfit for a 60/40 Birthday Party/Anniversary Party, and I was very distinguished, and received a compliments, and pictures!!!

I purchased this coat for a musical for a very brief scene. I wish the scene had been longer, the coat was beautiful!

I would have given five star, but the waist of the small I received has way too much girth. It's mot proportional to a small man's waist unless they were built plump.

Perfect

Sturdy enough that I wear it as my daily fall-coat. Good size, just the right amount of blending in and standing out amongst all the modern coats!

To measure your chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest. If your belly measures larger than your chest, use the larger measure.
