Leather Buckle Suspenders - Black

Cheaply made. Not worth the price for these suspenders. You are better off going to a leather shop and buying a better quality pair. Disappointing purchase for the price I paid.

These look and feel great. The quality shows when you acquire items from a place that puts attention to detail and specializes in the attire of the period. I'm very happy with the suspenders. They are one size fits all, which means the leather straps are long enough to accommodate a giant, but there's an easy way to loop the extra length back through at the bottom and back to give them a natural appearance. These fit perfectly with the brushed cotton trousers I purchased as well.

The leather galooses have always been my favorite buy. Incredible durability and long lasting!

They aren't particularly high quality, they definitely feel like costume suspenders. They don't seem like they're going to fall apart though, they just feel like thin pleather. They work for what I need though and I needed them quickly, and they arrived quick and as described.

I bought these to use with Classic Canvas Trousers. They fit well, work well, and give you that classic "old west" look!

Neutral star rating.. The loopy parts that attach to the buttons are clearly leather but are the straps? They don't look, feel, or smell like leather.

Editor's note: As stated in the description, these suspenders are made of leather. The leather for the straps and the connectors are different, but the are both leather.

1928 Roadster and like to period dress for events and occasions. These trousers, knickers, shirts etc. from Historical Emporium fit the bill. Even though they are earlier vintage, for working guys, they are still in style for the 20's, 20's and even 40"s. The fit is good and the quality high. Love the stuff! We are hosting the MAFCA 2024 National Convention at Ruidoso, NM in June and are rigging up for the festivities with new duds.

Due to my mistake when ordering the Trousers, Trousers were high waisted, I didn't need the suspenders

I ordered these suspenders and received them so fast that I had to duck! Very high quality! The sizing chart was true and accurate and the fit was perfect. They are a perfect match with the Callahan dress pants. I’ll be doing more shopping at Historical Emporium.

They fit well, but I needed to add an extra hole on the brown ones (I am 5' 9" tall, and a simple leather punch fixed the issue quickly), the black fit perfectly. It appears that the suspenders came from 2 different makers, I would like to see Historical Emporium offer the brown suspenders from the same maker as the black ones. The quality seems good, and they are comfortable. I look forward to many more purchases from Historical Emporium!

Quality of the leather wasn't what I expected

Good quality and good fit. They hold up my trousers and look good doing their job.

The actual suspenders are great -I was highly disappointed that only the tabs and back piece are actually leather - and the straps are fake - not what one is led to believe when reading the description - therefore not thrilled

These braces are extremely well made from good quality materials! They pair very well with the Classic Trousers to make an accurate historical ensemble. I wear them during our annual Antique Steam Engine show event and continually get many compliments and inquires on where they can be purchased. Very good product for the money!

These don't come with clips. You need to have pants with buttons on them, either already on them from the manufacturer, or do like I do and just grab a few buttons and a needle and thread.

They are good quality, comfortable, and look manly. I got them in black, and might get a second pair in brown, just to mix things up a little. I like to wear them with jeans, they look a little rustic, but with a touch of class. I do enjoy getting dressed up, it's great to look and feel your best, but I also know that daily life and everyday function are necessary. If you buy all this stuff just to keep in a drawer or the back of your closet, what is the point of it? I am glad to have these as part of my wardrobe.

Straps that button to pants could have been better quality/thicker leather.

Quality might be an issue, so carefully examine yours and confirm that the leather has no thin spots that might tear after a few months of use. I found that to be a problem with one of two pairs I've owned. To WE's credit they upheld their Quality Guarantee even though the return period had expired.

I wore these suspenders with an out fit I had all night. The look great (cool accent to my costume) and fit great too thanks to the elastic in the back. Freedom to move, and style too!

Not happy with these. They are too big. They will require having holes punched to shorten. More expense! They need to be offered in smaller sizes. I am not a small guy over 6' tall and still to long. Not a good purchase!

Great suspenders. These are well made and look great. However based on the recommended measurements I ordered XL. They are Way too large. Luckily I am a leather worker so I can make them fit. If you are over 6' or a bigger boy they would probably work quite well.
