Feminine yet feisty, the Pauline Blouse reflects the spirit of women who stepped into vital roles during World War I, opening doors that had long been closed. Patterned after styles seen in 1918 photographs and catalogs, this blouse balances practicality with strong period character.

Made from lightweight, semi-sheer cotton, it’s comfortable for work or everyday wear. Design details include a long square collar that falls over a pleated center panel to form a deep rectangular neckline, seven buttons fastening on the left side, and a 58-inch waist tie that gathers the blouse into an hourglass shape. Long sleeves finish with wide, turned-back cuffs measuring approximately 3 inches.

Fashioned from 100% cotton. Imported. Machine washable.
Please note: This blouse is slightly sheer and may require a chemise or camisole for modesty.

Elegant and Authentic

I love the look of this blouse--seems like it was handed down from my grandmother. A fresh alternative to the typical "Victorian" styles. It's quite short--maybe I'm longer-waisted than the model. Not a problem because I tucked it into my skirt but something to consider if you're tall.

I really appreciate that your sizing is very accurate. Being a larger woman it is often difficult to find clothing online that ends up fitting properly. I am a plus sized woman, but this blouse really ran large in sleeve length. Collar stands up very high behind neck. Might be okay if you are tall and have a long neck, I am debating about returning or trying to alter as it is beautiful and of a lovely quality.
