Persephone Cap Sleeve Dress - Denim

This works in the desert heat, as I had hoped it would. I got compliments on it.

I loved the dress.

When I got this dress from Historical Emporium, I didn't expect that much different from similar dresses I've bought online before. But this one is gorgeous, and the purple color I ordered is a deep jewel tone that I love! It is well-made, size is spot on, and all I can say is I wish I could wear it every day!

One of the cords ripped halfway off as it was being tied, and a seam burst while adjusting the dress' position.

I am delighted with the appearance and fit of this dress. Comfortable flowing fabric. I imagine the white might be a bit translucent, but the black is fine without a slip.
Will probably by another if they come back in purple or blue.
The front has laces that can be snugged a bit if desired and the back has a square neckline with elastic gathers on the bodice. Fits me well with 38" bust and 34" waist. BTW, I accidentally put it on backwards and it is actually kind of cute like that, looking more Regency.

I love the dress! The color is beautiful; it fits well. I am 5 foot 5 1/2 and have somewhat narrow shoulders but I am busty. This just fits on my shoulders without falling. Full, pretty skit that twirls.

This is a beautiful dress. I love the ombre look, especially. These "one-size fits most" dresses are great, because they really do fit many shapes and sizes, and they are adjustable if your weight goes up and down. Very pretty and comfortable, too.

for a one siz fits all small it was more a medium one size fits all.

Due to loops, belts it can fit all sizes. Lovely color and pattern. Plan to wear it on a cruise.

A beautiful nice quality dress, lovely colour! The skirt is very full. Not a lot of room in the bodice, so it pays to pay attention to the size chart.
