Rebecca Regency Dress - Royal Blue Leaf

I recently purchased the Rebecca Regency Dress to wear as a day dress for the upcoming Jane Austen Festival in September, and I couldn't be happier with my choice!

The dress is made from high-quality material and is completely lined, which adds to its overall comfort and durability. While it may not be historically accurate due to the presence of a zipper, the design features drawstrings at both the neckline and waist, giving it a charming Regency-inspired look.

As a petite person (standing at 5'), I ordered a size small. The fit is quite nice, although I did need to have the dress shortened by about a foot, which is something to consider for others who are similarly petite.

This dress is beautifully made, with attention to detail, and the sizing was accurate. The fabric is of good quality. There is plenty of material at the bottom of the dress to allow for various hemming options. I would advise keeping the leftover fabric for possible future use. It's a machined hem so hemming can be done by machine rather than by hand. I am happy with the zipped back closing as it is easier to change in and out of (and with these dresses you often need help), but some people might prefer buttons, in keeping with the period. You can always cover up the zip with a shawl. The sleeves are generous, so easy to play in. Bodice is generous, with ties to get an exact fit. A thoughtfully made dress.

I bought this to wear at Ragtime music festivals. The fabric is lovely. It is very well made. I am 5'7' tall, band size 39, and I ordered a Large. This fits but is a little long. I will have to wear it with 2" heels. At first my husband and I thought it was a bizarre fit on top, but then I figured out what the ties were for and got it adjusted to fit me. Clever. It is lovely.

I needed it for a reenactment. It was very well-made, a good fit, and I received it quickly. Would definitely order from here again.
