It's a very stylish coat, made of very good materials. My only real complaint is that it doesn't button in the front, aside from that it's great!

Great regency tailcoat delivered on time. Purchased this to wear as a daytime and outdoor coat for a 3-day Jane Austen Society event on short notice; it more than delivered. It's substantial both in material thickness and construction, has adequate pocket space/placement, etc., rendering it a truly useful piece, and received a lot of compliments as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought a size large regency jacket. It runs just a little large but it's pretty close to size. The cotton fabric is good quality and has a nice look to it. I liked it so much I just ordered another 24 Regency and Victorian coats for my costume stock.

Waist fine, sleeves just a bit long. I’ll fix that I’ve gained weight so that fact that it was large enough in the waist was good now I just need to lose some lbs.

Nothing to complain about my order. Fast and efficient. After a few modifications, I'm going to love wearing it on stage.

This tailcoat is so beautiful and so comfortable to wear I love it.

Compare to other Historical Emporium products, I often find the coats and tailcoat to be a little less impressive than the rest. For this one, its mostly the fact that the lining is very loud when you move around. Otherwise, it is still a pretty good product and the fit is nice. The customer service is amazing.

I plan on wearing the Tailcoat at this years Dickens on the Strand (Galveston, Texas). It will no doubt fit in well with the other Victorian era outfits at the event.

Looked great! Thick and well made. My only note is the coat wrinkled and you could see it if the person sat at all. Still. Great for carolers!

We ordered this, and a vest, for a Halloween Costume. The Tailcoat was in NC from CA, within 3 days, and the Vest, which was special order was here ahead of schedule. I needed support for figuring out sizing, as my husband didn't exactly fit the sizing guide. Both items fit perfectly. I was very pleased and will probably order again in the future.

An absolutely delightful coat, very well made, and good fit. The tails go down to the back of the knees on me -- 5'7" female in an XL. Sleeves are a little long, but expected for the time period.

I was asked to represent one of my ancestors for the arrival of the Immortal 32 men from Gonzales who answered Col Travis' letter. The coat was a perfect addition to my 1835 period outfit.

Coat is very nice quality. Quick delivery. For future, I would like to see additional options on sleeve lengths for coat sizes. I had to get my sleeves shortened. Otherwise, very satisfied.

This is a beauty. Perfect fit, light enough for summer wear, and warm enough for cool fall tours. And as with all Emporium items, the coat makes you stand prouder and taller because you want to show it off to its fullest potential!

I am not the usual skinny person who can buy a medium or large of anything and have it fit them. I've had some trial and error trying to find a tailcoat for a vampire event. I ordered using the size chart based on my shoulder and chest size and the jacket fits perfectly. Very happy with the fit as well as the quality.
