Many years ago I bought a fancy, lined, "crushable" bowler at a hat shop in Carmel, CA and it's been my go-to for every nearly every gig ever since. Recently it went missing and after searching high and low for over a month, and only finding hard Bowlers or obviously cheap imitations, I finally found just what I needed here. I wish the sweat band were black rather than tan, and I miss my fancy lining, but in all other ways this hat is perfect and I plan to buy another one to have on hand just in case.
